In a little less than two weeks, a team of 7 Jesus followers will be traveling to Uganda, Africa, on a mission. We all come from various backgrounds and are in different seasons of life. Two things we have in common are that we are in love with Jesus Christ and we have each received a calling on our lives to go to Africa. For some, this is a first; for others, it has become their life's passion!
We believe God has a plan for the Karamojong Tribe in the Village of Namatala, Uganda; a plan for a future and a hope. We are privileged, humbled and honored to have been chosen by God to be a part of something this huge! We trust that He will give us wisdom and guidance and protect us on our journey.
While in Uganda, we will have the joy of sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the beautiful people of this village - God's people, whom He loves. We will be playing with children; holding babies; developing relationships; distributing shoes, clothing, food and needed supplies; teaching VBS and Sunday School classes (for children and adults); teaching women how to sew; facilitating the "pig farm" project; sharing our testimonies; worshiping; attending church together and of course, sharing the good news of the gospel of Jesus, from hut to hut!
We greatly appreciate all of your generous support and most of all your prayers in the weeks to come. Prayer is the most important thing you can do for us! We are all just beside ourselves with excitement over how God is going to change the lives of these precious, poverty-stricken children and adults. We anticipate our hearts to be changed from this incredible experience!
Jesus loves us ALL, so much!
"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Corinthians 15:57
